William Cooper and Elizabeth Maslen |

William Cooper was born 28 March 1835 in Wirksworth, Derbyshire, England and died 22 December 1902 in San Diego, California. The 67 years of his life was a journey, not only space but a spiritual journey which brought him to the knowledge of the true gospel of Jesus Christ and remaining faithful to it until the end.
Wirksworth is small old quarry town hills, .... William's father, Charles Cooper, grew up in Duffield, a town about 10 miles from Wirksworth, he was a cotton framework knitter in the 1841 census, a framework knitter of silk hosiery according to the 1851 census and later census records show him as being a postman(footpost). His mother Ann Allsop was born in Wirksworth and it is understood that she was a weaver.
The family's place of residence on the 1841 census was Greenhill. Explain Greenhill.
